MV Zephyr

Description

Zephyr is our most luxurious vessel able to take up to 12 passengers at a time. She is semi-covered with an open rear deck, a comfortable saloon midships and separate cockpit area in the bows.

Fully equipped with heating, galley and toilet facilities Zephyr is suited to all occasions and she can operate anywhere on the tidal or non-tidal Thames.

Named after the Greek god of the west wind, she was built at Eel Pie Island specifically for musician Pete Townsend of ‘The Who’ along similar lines to those of Tramontana since he liked that boat. Zephyr underwent a complete refit in 2009. Her original twin six-cylinder Mercruiser engines, both 3.6 litres, give her a top speed of some 22 knots - ideal for getting the boat up and running at the start of the University Boat Race.

This vessel is ideal for high speed luxury transfers, three-course meals, buffets and champagne receptions all whilst travelling through central London at a comfortable and safe speed, taking in the sights and sounds of one of the world’s most famous cities from a different perspective.

Whether you are looking for a private event or a comfortable way to get from A to B these boats are ideal.

With lots of outside deck space and plenty of room for your group inside, should the weather determine this. A small galley area enables hot food options although you will wish to enjoy the outside spaces and a more informal menu would be our recommendation!
